Meteor Shower Tonight!

The Leonid meteor shower is active from November 10th through the 23rd, with its peak viewing period November 18th and 19th. This meteor shower is produced from the outbound particles of comet 55P Temple-Turtle which last passed through the solar system back in 1998!

The peak time to view the meteor showers will be tonight and Sunday night around 10:45pm to 12:30am. (See image to the left: courtesy of accuweather.com)Clouds will more than likely obscure the viewing tonight across the Stateline, but head out tomorrow and you will probably be likely to see them!
