13WREX in conjunction with the National Weather Service is looking for volunteers to report snowfall. If you are a snow lover, we will give you the proper materials to check snow with a little Meteorology 101 too! We are looking for people in the following areas:
NW Winnebago County
Byron
Davis Junction
Cherry Valley
Poplar Grove
Capron
Fairdale
Monroe Center
Rochelle
Ashton
Genoa
If you live in these areas and you'd like to become part of RAST, please send me an E-Mail and I will give the National Weather Service an idea of how many people are interested. You have to be able to submit your report electronically via E-Mail at 6am and 6pm each day. For more info: esorensen@wrex.com.
