While the snow fell this morning reducing visibilites and making roads almost impossible to drive, that didn't stop some snow loving pets from enjoying a jump and playing around!
Final snow totals will continue to come in this afternoon and evening. The heaviest amounts through the noon hour were from Winnebago County southward into Lee and Ogle Counties. Eight to twelve inches had fallen with a few locally heavier amounts between twelve and fifteen. The heaviest snow band stretched from La Salle and Lee Counties northward into Rochelle and Rockford.
