Times of Change

We have been very spoiled over the past month and a half with this very mild weather. Temperatures last week were in the 50s and this weekend in the 40s. But things will be coming to a change as we enter the second week of January. One cold front passed through Sunday afternoon bringing us a few light rain showers and even some snow flurries. Another cold front will sweep through Monday and bring even a better chance for snow showers late in the afternoon and evening. With the passage of each front, temperatures slowly fall back into the lower 30s with overnight lows once again reaching the upper teens and low 20s.

But then the pattern changes for the end of the week. The jetstream will become a little more active by Thursday and Friday bringing rain and snow, possibly accumulating snow, by the end of the weekend. We'll just have to wait and see!
