A Freezing Rain Advisory has been issued for Winnebago, Boone, Ogle, Lee, DeKalb, and McHenry counties until 6 am Sunday morning. With temperatures right around the magic number...32 degrees...freezing drizzle/rain has been falling across the region. Mixed in with that at times has been sleet as well. This will cause roads to become slippery very quickly tonight and early on Sunday. If you must travel tonight or tomorrow, please allow yourself extra time and be careful.A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Stephenson, Jo Daviess, Carroll, and Whiteside countied until 3 am Sunday morning.
