These pictures were taken by Cameron Moreland, Chief Meteorologist at WGBA-TV in Green Bay, Wisconsin and relayed to us via NBC26 Meteorologist Steve Brown. Parts of Sheboygan County received 20" of snow. Even though we had a heavy, wet snow here in the Rockford area, it certainly could have been worse for us! -ERIC

In some way that wouldof been nice to get here instead of what we got. Just so my kids could at least enjoy one more snow storm, they were out in the first one we had in December and just loved it. With how the past few years have been they have never really enjoyed snow like i used to as a kid. So what are the chances that this storm could track a different direction and we end up with all the snow??? It's probably more of how the temps would end up being right? I would just love to have a nice old fashion snowstorm like when i was a kid lol..I'm only 26 but i remember how the snows were when i was young and it was a blast!!! I wish my kids could enjoy it like i did.
our son graduated from UW greenbay and they have underground walkways between the buildings on campus. School was cancelled once in 4 years because the commuter students could not get there. Its a wonderful college.
Eric has over twelve years of experience in broadcast Meteorology and is the only local Meteorologist who was born and raised in Rockford! In June 2008 he was given the prestigious Silver Dome Award for best TV weathercast from the Illinois Broadcasters Association. He attended St. Edwards Grade School and Boylan High School here in Rockford before heading to Northern Illinois University. After receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in Meteorology, Eric worked at KTRE-TV in Lufkin, Texas and KLTV in Tyler, Texas. His parents live in Belvidere and are loyal viewers every night. He has an older brother who lives in the Chicagoland area and a sister who watches WREX on a fuzzy tv up in East Troy, Wisconsin. He's happy to share his Rockford home with an 8 year old black lab named Theo. Around the station Theo's been nicknamed the "13 Weather Lab."
