More Winter for the Northeast
The same area of low pressure responsible for the fatal flooding in Texas early in the week will work across the Southern states and off of the Carolina Coast by Friday. The circulation around the low pressure will bring lots of moisture in off of the Atlantic Ocean. The end result? Quite a bit of snow!
Take a look at our Futurecast plot of snowfall totals through Saturday night. The NW suburbs of New York City could receive up to 6" with the Hudson River valley getting over a foot! Places like Albany, New York, and Burlington, Vermont will be measuring this snow in FEET!
Tim Kruse, (A former WREXer) works at WTEN-TV in Albany. Hopefully he can post some comments and let us know what's happening up there! -ERIC
