Jackets for a few days...Sunscreen for a few days

Temperatures surged up into the 70s for Northern Illinois this afternoon (not to be repeated tomorrow).

A cool front has passed through the area, along with a lake-breeze off of Lake Michigan. Temperatures at O'Hare went from 69° at 12:52pm to 52° at 2:52pm. Wheeling, Illinois fell from 67° to 48° in just about the same timeframe.

We've been lucky today, the change has been less abrupt. It will be a chillier evening however...with temperature struggling tomorrow (due to extensive cloud cover).

A warm up will be welcomed for the weekend. Perhaps our first BBQ Alert of 2007??? -ERIC
