Next week we might have to utter that four letter word again... yes snow! Typically, we see at least one or two snowstorms during April and it looks like our shot will come during the middle of the next work week. An area of low pressure is likely to develop near Cheyenne, Wyoming on Monday. This low will slide to the south of us. This path won't allow the warm front to pass through the Stateline. Therefore, we will be on the cold side of this storm system, making our chances for snow fairly good for Tuesday and Wednesday.
At this time, the models are bouncing back and forth on whether we see a dusting or some actual accumulating snowfall. As this wave of energy approaches we will be able to fine tune the forecast and get some specifics down. Stay logged on! -ADAM
