A potent rainmaker is centered over western Kansas right now. Its movement over the next 48 hours will be ENE towards central Missouri. From this storm system our chances for severe weather will be fairly low. The reason for this is that we will never tap into the very warm and moist air flowing off of the Gulf of Mexico. We will stay north of the warm front, which will keep our instability levels in check. Don't get me wrong, we will be getting in on the wet weather, but for the most part we will be staring at a good old fashioned "soaker". -ADAM
