The Shield

Moisture is streaming over the Rockies right now. That might initially make you think we are in for some wet weather, but that will not be the case. A strong area of high pressure will move south out of Canada tonight and hold still for at least 48 hours. The high pressure system will act as a shield and block us from receiving any of that Pacific moisture. That storm currently out in Montana will have to ride up and over the ridge of high pressure. With very little moisture in the atmosphere we will see very little cloud cover. Get outside and enjoy the weather, but keep the sunglasses and sunblock nearby this weekend! -ADAM
