The strong storms Saturday night rumbled over much of the area, including Southern Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois. The map on the left shows reports of wind damage, hail, and even a couple of tornadoes. Several counties in the viewing area experienced wind damage. As the storms moved to the east, strong winds moved through Dupage and Carol Stream. Some of these strong storms hit an apartment building in Dupage County, and caused some major roof damage injuring 11 people. Lucky for us things will quiet down for the next 24 hours until Tuesday when there is another chance for some thunderstorms to rumble through the area. Let's hope that these won't be severe.
