Storms Moving Southeast

There is currently some scattered thunderstorms from west central Wisconsin extending to just east of the Wisconsin Dells. The National Weather Service in Milwaukee has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for south central and southwest Wisconsin. The image on the left is a picture of the current radar in that area. These storms look like they will be moving southeast, and could be in the area before midnight. If we do get some storms, the main threat will be penny size hail and gusty winds. There could also be some periods of heavy downpours and dangerous lightning. So far the only county in our viewing area that has a severe thunderstorm watch in effect is Green County. Stay tuned to 13 News and the weather blog as we give you the most current weather conditions.
