Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels signed a law today requiring that most mobile homes be equipped with weather radios. This comes after the devastating tornado that ripped through Evansville back in November of 2005. Read more on this story in the Indystar.com.

Awesome.. I was in a Radio Shack today buying an adapt-a-maggier (sorry for the technical term) when a lady came in asking about Weather Radios. The sales guy who was ringing me up at the register said they can't keep them in stock right now. Apparently since we had the storms a few weeks back people have been flooding them to buy Weather Radios.
Personally, I think they should be required in all houses just like Smoke Detectors are.
