April 2007 Round-Up

Today is May 1st. So it's time to look back at April's climate. For many, it will be remembered as a month with many ups and downs. On the 11th and 12th we had nearly three inches of late-winter snowfall, followed by 70° temperatures just five days later. The warmest temperature was 84° on the 22nd and 29th with April 6th being the coolest morning. April will be remembered as a relatively cool month with an average temperature of 47.3°, over a half degree below the norm. We had nearly three inches of precipitation (with that freak snowstorm on the 11th). Our total precip? Nearly an inch below average. -ERIC
