Prairie Hill School visit
I had the wonderful opportunity of talking weather to two first grade classes at Prairie Hill School on Tuesday. What a smart group of kids! We talked about the water cycle, how hailstones and tornadoes are made, and even how doppler radar works. Yes, to first graders! :-) They were very attentive and eager to learn. Plus, they were the first classroom to receive the 2007 Project Tornado books! (You can get yours in Thursday's Rockford Register Star). -ERIC
