Pushing Record Warmth

The 70 degree high we hit Sunday afternoon will seem like a distant memory come Monday afternoon. With southwesterly winds expected to pick up during the day, it will bring in the 80s and even 90s that the central and northern Plains saw this afternoon.

Highs on Monday will reach the upper 80s...and I wouldn't be surprised if some areas, especially south, hit the 90 degree mark. If that were the case, this would make it the warmest day we've seen so far in 2007.

The warmth however will go as quickly as it came. A cold front will move through late Monday night and early on Tuesday bringing a chance for showers and storms during the afternoon.

Upper 60s and low 70s will make another return come midweek.- CANDY
