Shouldn't my weather radio have gone off? and I don't think weve had one of these in quite a while
I can't remember the last time we had a Red Flag Warning in Northern Illinois. It's been quite a while. Let's hope we don't have any yahoos out there that burn anything...or worse yet, any untimely fires! -ERIC
Yeah but all it could take i would think is someone that throws their cigarette out the window! If that could even start a fire but i guess if it can start a bed on fire it can anything outside expecially with how dry the grass is and its going kindof dead already! Not something we see til August.
A careless cigarette did start a fire--in the mulch outside the store where I work Thur. afternoon. We tried to put it out with the fire extinguisher-- but the flames kept coming back! The fire dept. had to come douse it for us. Before it was all over the wind drove the flames to another section across about 15 ft. of pavement!
