Eww Point!

I had never heard that term until Eric said it a couple weeks ago. I don't think he has copyrighted it so I will use the "eww point" to describe this weekend's weather.

Remember the dew point is the amount of moisture in the atmosphere and it better tells us the severity of that sticky feeling than the relative humidity. We start to feel the humidity when dew points are greater than 55 degrees. Dew points today are hovering around 60 degrees, but they will be rising this weekend. Southwest winds on Saturday should bring dew points into the low 60s. Although Sunday looks like the day for "air you can wear" with dew points reaching into the mid 60s.

If you don't have air conditioning or access to a body of water might I suggest heading to the movie theatre this weekend, because Saturday and Sunday will be scorching. -ADAM
