The first full week of June was soggy and fairly cool. We recorded over two and half inches of rain, which was sorely needed after such a dry month of May. The second full week of June has been very warm and very dry. In terms of precipitation, we've recorded zip, zero, zilch. This weekend a cool front will try to sag southward, but will likely get hung up in Minnesota and Wisconsin. With the dynamics that far north, we should be staying mainly dry. The streak without rain should extend to 11 days by Monday. On Tuesday, a rainmaker will finally push through. This will be our next threat at thunderstorms. The severe weather risk has yet to be determined. -ADAM

I think the threats of severity should be kept to a minimum. Hopefully the heat won't be so bad to fuel the storm. Keep us in the know.
I hope it doesn't get as severe as it did last week..(I am not very fond of severe weather even though it is fascinating) that was pretty intense for a while..
I will put in your requests to Mother Nature... :-)

Although last thursday, we escaped the severe stuff. I have a feeling the next time around, we may not be so lucky.
