I'm in DeKalb, I was wondering if you might know any info on how much of DeKalb lost power? We had none for about 3 hours and I drove through town after that and saw many more blocks without power.
I was with a friend during the worst of the storm. She said she had been in Hurricane Andrew and this storm reminded her of it because of the rain and wind from every direction. Also because you couldn't see across the street.

According to our reporter on the story, 17000 people lost power during the height of the storm. As of 10pm, 2000 still didn't have power. -ERIC
