High pressure will rule the roost over the next several days. Most of you folks that routinely check the weatherblog understand what high pressure does to our weather pattern. Although, you would be surprised how many people on the streets would struggle to explain what a cold front is or how high pressure affects us. That is why we try to boil down all the meteorological jargon we learned in college. Eric made the graphic on the left last night for the CW News at 9. I used it this morning to further explain the implications to our weather for this upcoming weekend. In summary, all of us in the weather center will be just kicking back and relaxing over the next couple of days as our weather pattern quiets down for awhile.
To the avid golfers out there, you can't blame Mother Nature this weekend if you don't shoot a low score. The sky conditions should be nearly perfect, and temperatures will be extremely agreeable by mid-July standards. -ADAM
