As I mentioned a little earlier this evening on the blog, storms are expected to weaken as they cross the Mississippi River. While widespread severe is not anticipated (thus the SPC won't be issuing a weather watch) a limited number could pulse above severe levels early on. Heavy rainfall will be a threat with 1-1.50" rainfall possible across Carroll, Whiteside, and Lee Counties.
