Skies are beginning to clear a little this afternoon as the front continues its eastward track across northern Illinois. With the front overhead and a little more sunshine and cumulus clouds building to the northwest, I'm still going to hold on to an isolated storm chance for this afternoon. Right now, as of noon, the radars ae clear. Severe weather is not anticipated...that threat remains through the lower Mississippi River and Ohio Valleys.
