We have recently been upgraded to a moderate risk of severe weather by the SPC. Small hail is possible, but this severe weather event will mainly consist of damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. A stationary front currently extends from Omaha to Milwaukee. This is the exact line of which these storms will take. A cluster of thunderstorms is dumping heavy rain on western Iowa right now. Damaging Winds Possible Later Today
We have recently been upgraded to a moderate risk of severe weather by the SPC. Small hail is possible, but this severe weather event will mainly consist of damaging winds in excess of 60 mph.
