New weather watch may be needed
Storms have grown in coverage across Southwestern Wisconsin through 3:30pm. A few storms may produce hail this afternoon in addition to torrential rainfall amounts. If storms continue to strengthen, a Severe Thunderstorm Watch will be issued. We have two inches of precipitable water in the atmosphere...an indication of the type of rain that may fall today. -ERIC

Its been hot and sunny today in Dekalb, does that mean that we're at a greater risk for sever weather tonight? Thanx for all the updates!
ive noticed how the storms have exploded across southern wisconsin. based on the flood watch, we may not see much til after 8pm. we sure don't need 2-4 inches of rain. one thing for sure, ever since i bought the rain gauge that i have , it sure has been put into use alot this month.
