As of 6:58am on the Friday morning of August 3rd, 2007 the weather team has expanded and added a fourth member. Madyson Taylor King was born this morning and weighed in at a healthy 7 pounds and 13 ounces. Candice and Madyson are both doing very well this fine Friday evening. Weather Team Adds a 4th!!!

yes, congrats to candy and her husband on the birth of their baby girl madyson. I started noticing her pregneancy a few weeks ago, but didn't know she was that far along. The other day on the noon news, she even said that she couldnt really sit in those desk chairs. a very cute baby too. all the best to you and we look forward to seeing you back on air. actually i believe candy lives in elgin. i could be wrong.

WOW! Sure are alot of comments about Madyson being born, you don't usually get that much unless there is worry over a severe storm. CONGRATS Candy, your blessed to have one of God's creations-they grow up fast. I've been pregnant in hot and cold and prefer cold, being pregnant keeps you warm and if it gets to warm inside during winter you can go outside with no coat and cool off real good!! I don't know how long Candy is going to be off, but I remember once her saying that she grew up on a farm. Well, farm girls pretty tough. When I had my last baby (also an August baby) I was out in the barn the very next day feeding the animals.
Heh heh. Its okay Candy, no pressure. Take that whole 12 weeks of FMLA that you're entitled to and enjoy it! I'm sure Eric and Adam can carry on just fine in the Weather Center. As somebody else already said, they're only babies once and they grow up awfully fast. Enjoy every minute of it; the next thing you know she'll be starting college!
