Harvest Moon Tonight

How many moons does Earth have? Let's count:

The Wolf Moon, the Snow Moon, the Worm Moon, the Pink Moon, the Flower Moon, the Strawberry Moon, the Buck Moon, the Sturgeon Moon, the Harvest Moon, the Hunter's Moon, the Beaver Moon, and the Cold Moon.

Twelve.

Actually, we have one...but tonight's full moon is the Harvest Moon. If you get a chance, get out there and enjoy all of the moonlight!

I agree, Harvest Moon is so impressive. Too much light pollution in the cities to really catch the full glory, and nowadays most farm equipment has headlights bright enough to double as runway landing lights at the Airport, but if you can get away from all the lights you see the Harvest Moon shining so brightly it actually casts deep shadows. Completely awesome.

Which moon is referred to as the blood moon? What can you tell me about the moon this term refers to?

According to this Wikipedia article on full moons, it looks like the 'blood moon' is the moon for October.
