Humberto's affect on our weather

While Humberto was downgraded to a Tropical Depression this afternoon, heavy rainfall will continue to spread across Dixie. Since the remnants of Humberto are expected to stay so far south, the amount of moisture that feeds into our cold front from the Gulf will be very limited. Indirectly, Humberto does have an affect our weather!

The front will work through the Rockford metro tonight with one or two showers. Much colder weather will spread in as well. Temperatures will struggle into the lower 60s for Friday afternoon. -ERIC
