Tropical system brewing off of the coast of Florida

Midday computer models continue to develop an area of low pressure in the Gulf Stream, midway between Florida and Bermuda.

The models deepen the pressure by Wednesday with this system flirting with the Carolina coast by the weekend. With 85°+ ocean waters, rapid intensification is possible. This is one to watch as it could go from a depression to a hurricane in less than 24 hours. If you have travel plans to the SE United States, keep an eye on this one! -ERIC
