Tornado Watch has been issued for Green, Rock, and Walworth County in Southern Wisconsin until 10pm.Storms will continue to develop right along the IL/WI stateline through 5pm...and quickly move northeast.
A few storms may still form east of I-39 in Northern Illinois through sunset. The cold front/dryline is moving through the Rockford metro area as of 3:00pm which brings to an end the severe weather threat here.

looks like the rockford area may once again get spared the bad stuff which is nothing new. i guess if your a fan of severe weather, this system will disappoint. oh well,bring on the cooler weather.
HERE IN DEKALB THERE ARE TREE LIMBS ALL OVER, TRASH CANS ALL OVER, ITS REALLY WINDY. I BRATHER HAVE THESE 70 DEGREE DAYS THAN VERY COLD WEATHER ANY DAY!
looks like storms are popping up in southern wisconsin, but i think rockford will get spared since dew points are in the mid 50s, which doesnt seem moist enough to produce storms.
Yeah, dewpoints are falling here...a sign that the window of opportunity's just about closed. I imagine that Green and Rock Co. will be taken out of the watch shortly...however an upper-level disturbance is moving out of Southern IA this evening. If anything, I think it'll just continue to shove the convection further to the north and east.

Looking out the window in Janesville, WI ... plenty of puffy white clouds with flat grey bases, but nothing ominous-looking. Plenty of blue sky between clouds. Trash-can scattering gusts of wind.
Watching the clouds: they're moving along in a northwesterly direction at a pretty good clip, and do seem to be sprouting up almost right before one's eyes.
correction: clouds moving toward the northeast.
