That was a Warm One

The month of September was certainly a warm one. Out of 30 days, we broke the 80 degree mark 19 times and broke the 90 degree mark an amazing 5 times! That caused our average high temperature to be 6.1 degrees above normal. Over the course of 101 years, last month was the 16th warmest September on record. It seems like the leaves don't know what month it is either. The leaves aren't changing colors as much just yet, probably because they still think it is summer. Looking forward, it seems as though the September heat is going to spill into the first 6 days of October. -ADAM
