Remember the month of August? We broke the record for the wettest month of all time. We received nearly 10 inches of rain above the average. Since then the faucet has been turned off and it has been fairly dry around here. September and October checked in with rainfall totals well below average. Thus far, in the month of November we have seen less than a tenth of an inch of rain.
However, that rainfall total for November might be changing over the next couple of days. Area rain gauges should get some action on Tuesday, but they might be of little use for Wednesday and Thursday. Rain will change into snow during that intensely busy travel day on Wednesday. Snow showers are expected to linger into Thanksgiving. All in all, it looks like a white Thanksgiving is quite possible.
Eric and I will get together and put up a snowfall forecast either tonight or on Tuesday. You know where you will find it first... right here! -ADAM
