Are You Raising Your Hand?

A woman by the name of Margie sent Eric and I this cartoon. I figured I would share it for you all as this seems to be the general consensus.

Guess what, it appears as though another cold front is going to sweep through the region on Valentine's Day. No doubt Cupid will be battling the cloud cover, but he may also have to deal with some light snow late in the day. As you can see with ExacTrack, it appears as though the brunt of the snow will be dumped off in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan. This storm system should skim us for the most part. Like I mentioned yesterday, I am shooting for a quick inch of snow with the passage of this front. It should be just enough snow to create some slick spots on area roadways, which means you better take it easy on the gas pedal when you are going out on that hot date for Valentine's Day tomorrow night! -ADAM

Is there any hope of spring this year? Has it been canceled?

Oh Man, did anyone look at the 12z Euro from 96-120 hours(Sunday into Monday), perfect storm track for heavy snows here in Northern ILL/Southern Wis, of course it's 4-5 days out, could be fun for snow lovers... (:

Midwest: Funny, you were typing that as we were writing a blog post on it! Watch for the GFS to come further north with the 00z and 12z runs. If that occurs, our chance of snow increases. The NAM is still the outlier...keeping the low over East Texas at 84 hours. -ES
