Parts of the 13WREX viewing area are buried under a fresh eight inches of snow and we're already in forecast mode for the next snow. The European Model (ECMWF) has been consistent in developing low pressure over Texas on Monday with a track into the Ohio River Valley by Tuesday. This track is extremely similar to the storm that just moved through last night. A few days ago I indicated a potential for a "major storm" for Tuesday. I'm going to hold onto that possibility as this model is still giving us the same outcome for that timeframe.
One thing to take into consideration however is the warm air that will be moving in for Monday. I have some 50° projections for Monday...with a few thunderstorms possible. Should we get that warm, there may not be enough cold air to support snowfall on Tuesday. Time will tell!
Did you have fun shoveling or snowblowing today??? -ES

We only got about 4 inches up here in Rockton, and there's ice underneath. It's actually a lot less slippery with the snow, so I'm leaving it. With a long gravel driveway, and warmer temps, it's just not worth paying someone to plow for a few days of convenience!
Let's just say that I've been up sh*veling at 3:30 a.m. just a few too many times these last couple of weeks!
Man, am I ever ready for Spring!
On the 7 day you have ice in between sunday and monday... is this going to come in sooner than you thought before?
Justin: It will begin after 9pm on Sunday. I don't like to clutter up the 7 day unless something significant is possible. Right now it could be either a few hours of fzra or a few inches of snow.
Have a great weekend! -ES
