These are two pictures that were sent to me yesterday by Melissa of Roscoe. She took them yesterday afternoon of her backyard in which the Kinnikinnick Creek runs. In the background, you can see the bridge and the width that the creek should be. In the foreground, you can see the width that the creek currently is and all of the ice chunks that are piling up. With around a half an inch of rainfall Monday morning, and a lot of our snowpack melting over the weekend this is a pretty common sight across the Stateline. Driving around yesterday, I noticed many farms that were completely submerged in water. Overnight, our temperatures fell back into the teens. The temperatures are going to remain below the freezing mark the next five days. That will make skating rinks out of many of these flooded areas. The next real thaw won't occur until the second half of this upcoming weekend. -ADAM
