After a few "warm" days it appears that a cool down is in the works for the weekend. Instead of blaming a frigid airmass from the north, we have Lake Michigan to thank. Here's how it works: Yesterday and today we experienced either southerly or westerly winds. Both directions blow warmer air into the region. As high pressure builds over Minnesota this weekend, winds will shift out of the northeast.
35° Lake Michigan water will modify the airmass and cool it bringing an end to this warm stretch of weather.

I think we won't get any more big snows. I could be wrong, but I doubt it. Of course april 11th last year we had a decent storm. Eric, have you or adam heard lately from candace to see how she is doing and do you know what nate higgins is doing now. I am just curious. The 13 news team rocks. If this is off subject from the title, feel free to delete it. It is nice to see bare ground again knowing a month ago we were up to our chests in snow.
I thought I saw somewhere that Nate Higgins is in the Quad Cities... or maybe I'm thinking of Andy McCray... one of those two.
I think I have looked up nate higgins name and the only one that comes up is a nate higgins who is a mortgage broker now. So I don't know if it is the same person.
