Under Attack!
If you felt like you were under attack this weekend from a swarm of Asian beetles, you were not alone. These insects typically are found in the spring when temperatures start to warm up, but this recent outbreak of warm weather seems to have stirred these pests up a bit. I was out at Ingersoll Golf Course on Saturday (which is heavily lined with trees) where the Asian beetles were thick. They were flying into our sleeves and crawling into our gloves. It certainly made it a little tough to concentrate.
With the cooldown coming, these insects will be searching for ways to get indoors. Unless you want some house guests, keep those screens shut tightly. For information about their life cycle, their habits, and prevention click right here. -ADAM
