After falling back one hour this past weekend, here are the sunrise and sunset times for today. I enjoy the earlier sunrise of 6:32am, because it allows me to utilize a much brighter Skycam shot during 13News Today. With a sunset of 4:47pm, if you work a normal 9 to 5 job you will be driving home in the dark this evening.
We are going to continue to lose daylight for another month and a half. Between now and December 21st (when winter officially begins), we will lose another 70 minutes of sunlight. -ADAM

Actually yesterday I drove to work at 5 and it was still pretty light. But it got dark fairly quickly after that.
The effects of twilight are typically felt 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after sunset.
