Boo, snow
So, I was talking with one of my friends who lives up in McGrath, Alaska. He said they have about 14" of snow on the ground and they haven't been above freezing in a month. I guess we don't have it quite so bad here, after all.
He sent me a few pictures of the snow, including one of his awesome anti-snowmobile fence. Now that is a fence, my friends. (Oddly enough, it has stopped the teenagers from riding their snowmobiles through his yard...)
Original post: Those pesky snow showers just don't know when they're unwelcome. There is no snow showing up on radar north of about Wisconsin Highway 11 right now, so the light snow will finally start to go away from north to south. No, really!
I just drove into Winnebago... minor accumulations on grassy surfaces. I even had to give my car a quick brush! Pavement was nothing more than wet, although be aware of slick spots on elevated surfaces such as bridges and overpasses. They tend to cool down and get slippery.
