Alfred Hitchcock would be proud.

How come you guys are all blogging about everything but the weather?

Eric is blogging about Global Warming, Adam is blogging about football and now you're blogging about birds.

I'm starting to think its because the weather is so crummy that nobody wants to talk about it, not even the weather dudes. (!)

I'm just getting headaches thinking about Tuesday...

That's too bad. I've been doing some interesting reading!

Milwaukee NWS referred to what might happen on Tuesday as a "Classic Oklahoma Hook," so I looked up "Oklahoma Hook" and figured out that it was probably the same thing as a "Panhandle Hook." Then I read that the Edmund Fitzgerald sank in Lake Superior during a Panhandle Hook in 1975. That was all much more interesting than whatever is on TV. Thank goodness for the Internet...

You know its hilarious this time of year, when (it seems) every bird in Rockford comes to our neighborhood and sit on the power lines from one end of the street to the other. Its like seeing a huge 'bold' line of black for blocks and blocks, which you can mistake for a wire but in fact its all birds, i mean thousands of birds sitting right next to each other all the way down.

Its amazing, as I figure they do it to keep their feet warm when its real cold.

And then, if they all decide to take off at once, the wire bounces so high like a slingshot!

It always amuses me, I dunno why. lol
