Blizzard & Wind Chill Warning

Update 6:34pm: Blizzard Warnings have expired. Winter Weather Advisories for blowing/drifting snow are in effect for all counties for continued blowing and drifting for part of the overnight, although it won't be as severe as it was earlier. In addition, all counties are under Wind Chill Advisories or Warnings; chills of -20° to -30° are still likely through midday tomorrow.

Rockford is under a Wind Chill Warning until 4pm.... Blizzard Warning until 6pm.

Poor visibility and terrible road conditions likely especially outside of the urban areas... and all areas with wind chills down to, or even lower than, -30. Either one of those is dangerous by itself, and the combination of the two is even worse.

DO NOT TRAVEL OR GO OUTDOORS UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY
