It seems this month has either been cold or snowy...or a mix of both! For this blog post, I decided to only highlight the worst of the weather over the next few days. A clipper system will bring some light snow and flurries for Thursday evening, but that shouldn't be a big deal. All of our model suites are locking onto a cold snap for Friday. Highs will likely stay in the teens. At least there shouldn't be too much wind during the day. Our next hurdle on the field will come late Saturday night as moisture and warm air surge into the Midwest. A lot of times our models don't understand the scope of the cold air so we'll still hold onto a possibility of freezing rain for Saturday night. The warm air should encompass most of the atmosphere for Sunday bringing us an all-rain environment. However as cold air comes back the rain could switch to snow for Monday. It's too far out to talk amounts but it doesn't look major at this time. So, what's your take? Is winter getting to you already? Do you need a friendly reminder that winter actually begins in eleven days? :-)

No, I don't need a friendly reminder, thanks.
I need a ticket to a warmer clime and an additional 3 months of paid vacation time, please.
Thank you.

Hey eric, what are the chances of this snow sticking around 2 more weeks for christmas. Are there any other snows coming, or will the cold stick around long enough for this snow to stay. What do you think the chances are.
