Sick of Shoveling?

I've seen several comments on here from a few folks that are already sick of winter. The sad thing is that the calendar shows that winter hasn't even begun. The winter solstice is still several days out on December 21.

We have averaged an inch of snow each day for the first nine days of December. After checking the monthly average on the left you can see that we are quickly approaching 10.3" and we still have 2/3 of the month to go! I know technically November 30th's snow doesn't count towards this month's total, but if you add that 4.3" measurement we've shoveled well over a foot of snow in the past week and a half.

Thankfully, our weather is turning tranquil for the rest of the work week. A couple of flurries are possible late in the day Thursday, but they are going to be few and far between.

FYI, the graphic with the snowfall reports from yesterday is on the right side of the screen if you just scroll down a bit. -ADAM

Now what about next week? I thought Eric said we might be looking at another active week?

I don't mind the snow though I really don't like the freezing rain and ice.

Kristi, tranquil the rest of "this" work week. As you can see to the right, I haven't changed the 7 day outlook as it still shows a potentially nasty situation setting up for Sunday-Tuesday.

The 2nd half of that 7-day just looks nasty.
