Winter weather tomorrow

A few winter headlines to talk about this afternoon. Jo Daviess, Stephenson, Carroll, and Whiteside Counties are in a Winter Storm Watch; Green, Rock, and Walworth are in a Winter Weather Advisory. I would imagine that the rest of our viewing area will be put under some sort of winter headline soon.

These have been hoisted in advance of tomorrow's snow. It looks to be mainly an afternoon to early overnight event, so the evening commute will be a slow one. But there is good news... sort of. The snow will be of the light, fluffy variety, so it'll be easier to move than our other snows; on the other hand, fluffier snow accumulations more efficiently. Many of us will pick up at least a couple inches of snow, although there's the possibility of some totals in excess of 4". Forecast snowfall map coming in a little while.

Dear Mother Nature,

You seem to have misplaced some of Your precious snow. I believe we may have it here. We would appreciate it if You would remove it within the next 48 hours.

Yours Truly,
The Midwest
