Eating snow may actually be good for your health!

This one came as a shocker to me as I haven't eaten a slushy handful of snow in years but eating snow may actually be good for you!

The latest issue of Psychologies Magazine (a UK women's magazine) reports that rainwater's "slightly acidic chemistry may assist kidney function and remove toxins, in turn alleviating arthritis and gallstones."

The article also cites cites a University of Western Australia study that found children who drank rainwater were less likely to contract gastroenteritis.

So, next time we're calling for accumulations, go ahead and eat that snow...just as long as it's fresh and white.

I remember as a kid I used to eat the snow all the time. I might eat the snow again after reading this when we do get another major snowstorm.

Yeah the neighbors might have already thought I was a little crazy from time to time, but when they see me out in my front lawn with a spoon and fork, it might just answer this question they were wondering.

The expression on that guy's face is hilarious. He is in love with that heart shaped snowball.
