I plan on being there for the spotter training class. I will try to get there an hour early since I have a feeling the place is going to packed this year.

I was planning on going to this class. I will be turning 18 on saturday, and under the FAQ, this is what it says:

"Because of the complexity of severe thunderstorm structure and development, and the potential danger involved, spotting is recommended for adults. High School and Junior High School or Middle School students are welcome to attend the class with a parent or other adult."

So does this mean an adult has to come with to be officially "certified"

I am looking forward to this class. It is fun to attend and very informal. I look forward also to seeing the best weather team in rockford at the airport.

I went thru spotter training 100 years ago when I was on the Pecatonica/Seward Fire Department....Do I need to go thru the training again?
