A vigorous storm system is taking shape over the Plains this evening. In fact, there's a line of severe thunderstorms ongoing in west Texas. Severe weather doesn't look to be a widespread problem tomorrow, as the Storm Prediction Center has outlined only a very marginal risk of severe storms to our west. However, we still have a chance of having a few garden variety thunderstorms in the Stateline on Monday evening as a cold front pushes through. Otherwise, just plan on some showers, especially after noon.
Rainfall amounts should be fairly low, so flooding due to rainfall on Monday shouldn't be a big concern. We'll still have to keep an eye on ice jams, though.
