Kids who receive sleds tomorrow morning may have a little trouble making it down the hill with only an inch of snow on the ground. Just tell them they only need to wait a day or so.We're in for a 1-3 inch snow Wednesday with a more potent storm arriving on Friday. The graphic to the left is the model output for midday Friday. It shows a healthy area of developing low pressure over Southeastern Wisconsin. The 32° (540) line is well to the south indicating a potential for snowfall. Could be a 4-8 incher should it materialize just right. A more in-depth analysis will come later tonight/tomorrow. -ERIC

It would be nice to have some good snow on the ground, but with xmas being over by then, I wouldn't be as concerned. Other than I work that day. Bring on the snow for wintertime.

We are currently discussing it on central forums but if it does materalize then prehaps 4-8 inches but it's quite fast and has little time for good gulf moisture transport. 18z NAM is a bit deeper and looks like a decent snow past 84hr but we need it to slow down and amplify more.
Hows the storm looking for friday now eric. Is it still looking good or has it changed. I imagine the new models will come in shortly.
Well from what I read, sounds like tomorrows storm may not do anything and fridays storm may end up bypassing us with some rain and little snow.
