Dense Fog Advisory

I told you it was coming. It was only a matter of time.
The National Weather Service out of Chicago has issued a Dense Fog advisory until Noon Tomorrow for Winnebago...Boone...McHenry... Ogle..Lee...DeKalb..Counties including the cities of Rockford...Oregon...Dixon...and DeKalb.

Warm and moist air running over a two to four inch snow pack has lead to dense fog development across most of Northern Illinois. Even warmer air is expected to move into the region overnight..which will make visibilities even worse. Visiblities will frequently be reduced to less than a quarter of a mile. If driving...slow down...use your headlights....and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

Gretchen, you are a nice addition to the Channel 13 family. How old are you and are you married?

its kinda interesting... there is a 10-15mph breeze outside and the fog is still pretty thick.

i thought when there is wind, fog has a hard time sticking around.
